Exports are considered as one of the main driving factors for national economic growth. Therefore, the Minister of Industry (Menperin) increasingly intensively to increase the value of exports, especially through industrial estates, such as Kawasan Industri Surabaya Gresik JIIPE.
75.5% of export value is contributed by the industrial sector, such as Kawasan Industri Surabaya Gresik JIIPE. In this regard, the government plans to develop industrial sectors in various industrial areas, including Kawasan Industri Surabaya Gresik JIIPE.
Among the sectors in the industrial sector, the government prioritized several fields including the metal industry, the textile and apparel industry, and the food and beverage industry because the three sectors succeeded in achieving above-average export values.
