He suggested not to kill existing water canals, but rather to develop them as tourism by using a water transportation mode that could explore this vast industrial area. Also added in this industrial area must also be accessible by the community so that in addition to an environmentally friendly industrial area, the community had the opportunity to see firsthand the process of industrial production including its waste treatment.
"In Japan, this is already common in industrial areas where people can access to visit, see and witness how a product processes and with openness as above, not only the education side, but also the sense of pride and ownership of the community is present." Said Prof. Suparto Wijoyo.
