Following efforts to develop industrial estates, such as the East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE, which is being intensively carried out by the government, South Korean investors have become one of the most potential investors targeted by the government. In this regard, the government established a program that increased collaboration between South Korea and Indonesia in the industrial sector.
The program, named the Indonesia Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement or abbreviated IK-CEPA, contains the implementation of export promotions in various sectors, the development of supply chains and value chains, and many more.
IK-CEPA is useful to attract investors from the country of ginseng more optimally and efficiently to invest in industrial area, one of them is East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE. East Java Industrial Zone JIIPE is the largest industrial area in East Java as well as the first integrated industrial area in Indonesia which has been equipped with ports and docks for yachts and housing with the concept of an environmentally friendly independent city, named GEM City, with various exclusive facilities, such as golf courses and shopping centers.
